Paw Alert Tester Agreement
Paw Alert is in private Google Play testing. Please review the terms, then submit the form before requesting the Google Play opt-in link. The active test starts once at least 12 qualified Android testers are ready.
1. Purpose
You are being invited to participate in a private Google Play test for Paw Alert, a mobile app for lost-and-found pet alerts. The test exists to evaluate app stability, usability, onboarding, listing creation, map/list/profile behavior, issue reporting, and Google Play production-readiness requirements.
2. Confidential Information
Confidential Information includes non-public Paw Alert information you receive or observe during testing, including app screens, designs, features, pricing, subscription details, admin controls, workflows, bugs, performance, roadmap, tester instructions, screenshots, recordings, links, builds, and test results.
3. Non-Disclosure Duties
You agree not to disclose, publish, post, share, sell, transfer, copy, screenshot for public sharing, live stream, review publicly, or otherwise reveal Confidential Information during the testing period or before Paw Alert is publicly released without written permission from The Candy Man LLC / Paw Alert.
You may privately share bug reports, feedback, screenshots, recordings, and device details directly with Paw Alert for testing purposes.
4. Test Participation Requirements
- Use an Android device with access to Google Play.
- Provide the Gmail address used for Google Play testing.
- Keep the Google Play test opt-in active and keep Paw Alert installed for the requested test period unless a technical issue prevents it.
- Use the app in good faith according to the requested testing tasks.
- Test at least once per day during the active two-week test window when reasonably possible.
- Try signup/login, creating a test lost/found pet listing, map/list/feed/profile, status changes, deletion of your own test listing, and issue reporting.
- Report issues with steps to reproduce, device model, Android version if known, screenshots or recordings when useful, and urgency.
- Avoid posting real emergency or misleading lost-pet reports during testing unless clearly allowed by Paw Alert.
5. Google Play Closed-Test Requirement
You understand that Google Play may require a closed test with at least 12 opted-in testers for at least 14 continuous days before Paw Alert can apply for production access. You agree to remain opted in for the full requested period so the test can count toward that requirement.
Paw Alert may delay the active test until at least 12 qualified testers have accepted this agreement and provided their Google Play Gmail addresses.
6. Compensation
You accept that the full form of compensation for testing is one year of Paw Alert Pro access at no monetary cost after public launch or commercial deployment, subject to reasonable technical availability and account verification.
You will not receive cash, wages, employment benefits, contractor pay, reimbursement, equity, or other compensation unless separately agreed in a signed written agreement.
7. Feedback Rights
You may provide suggestions, reports, comments, ideas, screenshots, recordings, and other feedback. You grant Paw Alert a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free right to use, copy, modify, publish internally, and implement that feedback for Paw Alert and related business purposes without additional compensation.
8. No Warranty
Paw Alert is pre-release test software. It may contain bugs, interruptions, data loss, incomplete features, or inaccurate behavior. The app is provided for testing as is and without warranties to the fullest extent allowed by law.
9. Term
This agreement starts when you submit acceptance and continues until Paw Alert is publicly released or the test ends. Confidentiality duties survive for two years after the test ends or until the information becomes public through no fault of the tester.
